Dr. Hackathorn has extensive experience in the IT industry as a well-known industry analyst, technology innovator and international lecturer. He has published numerous articles in trade and academic publications, presented regularly at leading industry conferences, and conducted professional seminars in eighteen countries.

Dr. Hackathorn was a professor at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and at the University of Colorado. He received his B.S. degree in Information Science from the California Institute of Technology and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Information Systems from the University of California, Irvine.
